Description My second underwater work. I did this with SAI paintool. Whew! It's so hard to use SAI with a mouse! Especially the selection part. Photoshop is so much easier but it lacks that "watercolorish" or "painting" feel in my drawings. I really wanna learn how to paint with real paint. Amf... Too bad, the cost of painting materials are so steep, I can't afford them. Anyways, I did what I could. By the way, the bubbles look funny! XD I can't help but stare at them!

This is so pretty~

Could I ask on how you did the water-y effect? Someone asked me a request that requires the characters to be underwater.

Sorry for the trouble, I hope you could help~!

I also use SAI with mouse, I know what you feel ; n ;

The watery effect? Hmmm.. I couldn't say much.. I just learn by observing... I guess you could put lots of bubbles in it and lots of overlapping blues to make it look like the characters are underwater. I don't have a specific technique, but I suggest you look at and observe underwater photographs, they help a lot.

however hard or whatever SAI is, it seems to work out alright.
also, I doubt real paint would work out. you can't erase it, you know.
plus, you'd get paint in the scanner, and that'll hurt your wallet like there's no tomorrow.

Yep...That's one thing about real paint, you can't undo them. SAI is like photoshop, but it's more like a sophisticated version of paint.

Yeah, you really need a tablet for SAI. Ehehehehe... x'D But don't worry oy. The time I don't have the tablet, I did some works in SAI with a mouse before. >3>
