Description This portfolio received a 5

Here is the final collection of artworks for the Concentration section of my AP 2D Design portfolio. In Concentration, there are twelve artworks that incorporate a similar idea or theme that is portrayed within the artworks. A concentration can be anything from "white noise" to "dragons" to "social problems". There needs to be a centralized idea that evokes a greater meaning.

Curious, but these aren't all your own images you've used in your photo manipulations, right? I mean they really look like stock... I'm in the 2D Design AP track but I thought you couldn't use stock...

Good question! The original photos are public domain photographs from the military. I took AP 2D Design 4-5 years ago, so the rules may have changed. At that time, you could use stock photos but they had to be heavily altered so that they became your "own". Given the context and nature of my concentration, I justified the use of public domain photos to maintain a authenticity since I was exploring the psychology and culture of a life as a soldier. Double check with your teacher though.

Ok I will do that I've talked to her a few times about it but she still hasn't given me an answer... I hope so because I love photo manipulations! My portfolio would feel incomplete without them. :/ These are amazing.

Good luck! Honestly, you might want to sure those two AP 2D Design images, they might change her mind. There's also example winning portfolio's on collegeboard too.
