hmm i love this eva, it was def. my favorite when watching the show. so was asuka for that matter. the only suggestion i can make to improve this beauty is to make it look a little more organic? if that makes sense?

thanks. lol, well it has more to do with the lighting than the material. I also applied a rendering algorithm called Final Gathering. It pretty much causes color bleeds that radiates on one object to another just like how light bounces and absorbs color in the real world. That answer your question?

Yeah it does look like an action figure after taking a second look lol. Nope, Mental Ray. I added Final Gathering to it.

it is coming out pretty cool, but i see a little problem here, the materials look like plastic i think it would look better with some partes with metallic paint, unless you wanted it to look like mate paint. just a thought for final render... Evas have the coolest way for firing weapons in the series, like grabbing buildings for support and stuff like that.

You are right about the plastic look which is why everyone thinks it an action figure hehe. The metallic paint I was thinking of using. That's actually a good idea I was going to add buildings and such for an outdoor scene. thanks
