Ohmygosh I know! Those programs have a crazy amount of tools and techniques you can use. I watch a lot of tutorials too still. Were you thinking of making like those speedpaint videos? Let me know how it goes, I've been thinking about doing that too but wasn't sure how to go about it. I saw that some of those screen recording programs cost money. I'm afraid it might slow down my computer though if I tried to record and paint at the same time :/

Ok, so I would recommend this, make sure it's Hypercam 2, because version 3 has a free trial for 21 days, then it's $40. It automatically downloaded Hypercam 3 for me, so I'll just go get version 2 later, or buy it. That was a lot of trouble I went through earlier. -.-

Omg I would have panicked if something else downloaded on my computer. I've messed up computers before because of malware, I just bought the one I use last year so it needs to last me for awhile! Do you use a PC? I have a mac, so I wonder how that differs as far as the program use goes. I'll look into this hypercam 2 though, thanks for letting me know about it! I am looking forward to seeing some videos from you

I think there's a download link for Mac users. I know a lot of artists use Macs for art, and I saw that a lot of people use Hypercam, so hopefully it will work for you. Apple has a movie editing software right?

So I downloaded one, but it gave me a scare, because something else was downloaded with it and it didn't tell me it was downloading. PC Cleaner Pro popped up, and I was like "what the fuck is this?" I uninstalled it immediately, and looked up some stuff about it on Google. It doesn't seem like a malicious program, but I've read some things where it hides its own "uninstall" button, which can be worked around. I'm not sure. I found something else as well. Ugh what the hell? I think what I did wrong is I didn't hit "decline" every time I saw it. I'm probably going to ask Chris to help me see if I fucked anything up, and I'll look for an alternate program, or just buy one. Last thing I want to do is fuck up this computer. I messed up my last one pretty bad because of something really stupid.

There's quite a few that are free, and I think I just kind of runs in the background and you shouldn't notice. But yeah I was totally looking into making some speedpaints. I downloaded Windows Movie Maker last night for editing, then I need to send about getting some music (I can just us YouTube to Mp3 for anything I want.) I'm looking in to getting the recording software today. I'll post one if I can get it to work.
