oh... and good work on the details. This, the Ozark stuff, and the latest gentry gator stuff are showing you finally coming into your own style and getting comfortable with it. Keep up the detail.

Thanks, man. It's not that I was avoiding detail, it was more a way to figure out how to make my time economical. I just came to the realization that that is bullshit, and you just gotta put the time in.
Having said that, all this practice has gotten me up to a certain amount of speed. I'm putting out alot of content.

uhg horrible memories... renting that when I was like 11 or 12... getting the video home and watching it with my mom. We made it like 10 minutes in before my mom got pissed and took it back to yell at the lady for renting it to me.

I liked the first one. I remember the third one, and just having all these weird costumes, like a blue devil or something if I remember right. I dropped out, but, man, nothing will every squash my love for the first one.

Well I have to agree with your journal though. I watched a couple more of the Toxie movies, and the melding of humor with totally over the top violence didn't work quite as well as they intended. I think it could use a bit of an upgrade. Unlike Nightmare on Elm Street, where the people that revamped that should be shot.

Hear hear! Despite Haley's involvement, I have no interest in seeing it at all.
But I think Toxie is one of those characters that actually deserves to have more people know about him.

Yeah! I don't get that trend in Hollywood horror lately. You don't sympathize with the good guys anymore. It's like, they just try to make them so obnoxious that you can't wait til the bad guy kills them. The one that really bothered me was Devil's Rejects, with the Bonny and Clyde ending when Rob Zombie tried to glorify a bunch of serial killers.

Yeah, I haven't seen any Zombie movies. I think the thing with the slasher stuff is that, yeah, the antogonist is pretty cool and that's what you go to see, but, he's the ANTAGONIST. You shouldn't sympathize with him too much, and heaven forbid root for him.
