And now for something completely different.Okay, well not completely, I suppose...that would be abstract art. But a new series. One of which I was quite depressed to finish. *sigh* But that doesn't mean there won't be art.
So, thus, Chrono (or Chrno if you prefer) in small form. I'm currently working on his full form at the moment. We'll see how that goes.

Awesome! I love his expression. I started watching Chrono Crusade a while back, before the DVDs mysteriously dissapeared into the black pit that is only known as 'the home of the person who owns them'. I hear the ending is bitter-sweet, and I can't wait to finish it!

It's actually out through 7, 8 will be out the end of June. Unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately for my bank account) the Borders next to work only had 3, 4, and 6.
Yeah. Been doing a little research. I do really want to read it, but I don't want to order online since we're going to be moving AGAIN in the next week or so. I do really want to get my hands on it though. Soon.....very soon..... XD

I picked up the first volume 'cuz I couldn't resist the almost-ludicrous premise. Beautiful art, but a rather confusing (and rather anachronistic) plot.
Great picture, I like the use of tone on his clothes. And he has such cute little chubby cheeks.

I've never seen the series, but taken as just a piece of art, you never fail to impress. It's enough to make me curious about the series. A wonderful portrait, and I always enjoy your "humanistic" drawings.

Beautiful job on this - your shading never fails to blow me away. It's amazing. Chrno Crusade is a wonderful series - the best way to describe the ending is bittersweet. Yeah, I prefer happy endings, but it was an amazing series. I can't wait to see your take on Chrno Truth!

Very bittersweet indeed. I hadn't realized how attached I had gotten, either, in my rooting for Roseette and Chrono until the end and now it's all I can think about! XD

I fell in love with the series when I saw the first episode. Who couldn't adore Chrno? He's so sweet and innocent in his small form, and so totally sexy in his true form. Actually, I made cosplay costumes of Chrno and Rosette for two of my daughters - we had them in the works before the first episode aired, and ended up being the first US Chrno Crusade cosplayers (we have yet to find any international cosplayers that beat us out, but haven't found anything one way or another - yet).
Have you seen the manga for it? This was one of those series where the anime kept going past the manga, and while there are some similarities, there are some major differences, too. I haven't made up my mind if I like the manga or anime story-line better. Let's just say that the endings are the same - at least in feelings There are a few differences, but the end result is the same.
Anyway, not that long until Acen. Can't wait to meet you there!

I'm trying to get my hands on it, but the Borders near work doesn't have the first two. But flipping through the third, I could definitely see some major differences.....that, and it seems like Chrono Truth is around a lot more....which totally works for me.

Chrno! I <3 you! Chrno Crusade is an awesome series, definately and your stile transitioned very well. Drawing devil ears isnt the easiest thing, but I suspect putting dog ears on a man isnt all that easy either.
