this was a project for a series of collectable much music cards. Had a lot of fun doing some simple tattoo designs that translate into different music genres. the colours are probably my favourite part about these cards.Related content

omg I hate you.. I've been trying to come up for an idea for this stupid project, and I was like "I know! I'll do tattoos!" Now tonight, I happen to look through your entire gallery, only to find out that you did EXACTLY just that last year... Crap.

Yeah, I have Doug. He didn't like my fashion idea, for good reason. Then I came up with a shoe idea, but then someone yelled that out during class.

Yeah, but it's annoying when you can't think of anything else. Plus, I had another idea which was going to be hairstyles.. The someone else did it.. Blah. This should be such an easy project!

why don't you explore something, an item, that people personalize? like desktops or cellphones, or maybe design the packaging of "genre drinks", ie something like that Rockstar caffiene drink, green teas, soft drinks, bottled waters, etc. *shrug* get out of fashion ideas b/c they're to predictable. try picking items that everyone has/uses and personize them.

I've actually decided to choose stuff associated with making/playing music, bot not an instrument itself.. We'll see how he likes it. I was thinking about the food and drink route actually, but I couldn't come up with enough ideas. I might explore it a bit more.
