She looks very nice for an anthro animal of multiple species.

That implies that multiple species is either inherently attractiveness or difficult to pull off, but it's my favorite thing to do and I really should do more mixer work.

Fire looks cool, great work on perspective, the shine on her eyes is very nice, and she's cute.

Cat + Rabbit AND Skunk ?
While I see the cat part, I realy don't see what make her Rabbit+Skunk too ?

Anyway, a great picture.

very dynamic pose, it has an almost palpable amount of motion to it. and the colors give it a very lively and almost playful ring to it. excellent work i hope to do something of this quality someday

Huhm, I have to say; as a fire performer, i'm rather impressed with how well you've drawn the tools.
You obviously know what you're doing, and that just makes it look all the much better.

Cute !!! ^^ Did u use some program on your computer or u scan your work ? And another one : how can u cross different animal without it's become a monster ? I've seen some image of a vulpine/feline (and try to draw myself like this but is hard) but it was a strange creature...

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

BradyDalton In reply to YaminoKitsune [2010-04-07 03:50:42 +0000 UTC]

I do the planning and skecthing on paper and scan the drawing, but after that I do the clean lines and coloring on the computer in photoshop and painter.
And... I'm not sure how to answer the second question <:,

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

YaminoKitsune In reply to BradyDalton [2010-04-07 06:56:21 +0000 UTC]

Photoshop and painter... ok thanks ^^ About that picture, did u choose casually which part of animal to use like a foot or a hand ?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

BradyDalton In reply to YaminoKitsune [2010-04-07 21:26:18 +0000 UTC]

Well, the character original is by Lisa Willis so you would have to ask her in this particular case. But in general, it's not difficult to mix and match features of species if you have an eye for appealing proportions (in fact when I'm creating new characters I almost never have a specific species in mind at all) Do you have an example to show of what exactly was a difficult case?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

YaminoKitsune In reply to BradyDalton [2010-04-08 07:20:02 +0000 UTC]

I saw a mix of vulpine and feline... it wasn't that but but it looked strange so I thought that mix animal was a difficult thing... because i plan to do mine but i don't know how T_T

Reinhart is my cat/rabbit creature that I am currently obsessed with. I'll be adding more of her pictures up once I decide on how to color them.

Wonderful motion and perspective here. I can practically hear the rapid, pounding drum music.

The fire is well-done, too. The way the fire glows and twirls is just spectacular. About time someone does some character art that isn't standing and posing!

I love your art! Would you ever consider an art trade?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

BradyDalton In reply to wolfen89 [2009-08-03 05:45:11 +0000 UTC]

I'd like to say I'd love to do art trades, but because of the problems with my hands I'm limited with how much time I can spend sketching/working at the computer -- so I have to put whatever work I can do into making money.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

wolfen89 In reply to BradyDalton [2009-08-04 01:09:26 +0000 UTC]

Alright, thats really understandable, no worries. What do your prices normally run for like a full body, or a bust, also how much do you charge per extra character? I'd love to get something from you, if not now when I can afford it. It all depends on your prices, haha.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

BradyDalton In reply to wolfen89 [2009-08-04 04:44:45 +0000 UTC]

I need to post an info page somewhere... but Here the info:

Single full body character, simple background:
pencil: $20
inks: $30
digital color: $55

If it is only a bust, seems like I would do something like $13, $20 & $36

additional characters or background detail:
pencil: add $10
inks: add $15
digital color: add $25

If you have any questions beyond that, just message me again.

Very lovely. I always love glowy-fire type of art. I'd love to commission you, but I'm sure you're out of my price range, lol. Still, will add you to my watch in case I do at some point have the money.
