There is so much detail to take in at the forefront of the image; then when your eyes shift back you are drawn in again. It's like reading two stories at the same time.- honestly I completely missed the couple at first glance but it adds a lot to the moment. Stunning!

This is one of my absolute favourite pieces of art from MTG. I am currently, desperately trying to get my hands on one of the cards, because the artwork is simply so much more beautiful than the original.

The darkness is definitely there. The fact that it's so subtle makes it even creepier. I love the misty background and the amazing details of the tree texture to the front

Did anyone else get the weird, fleeting, first impression before looking at the name of it that the man was seducing women and turning them into trees by kissing them?

I thought this reprint looked great, but seeing the full art is amazing! Great job, and I love the random couple making out in the background, likely making the dryads uncomfortable (it's their arbor, go make out somewhere else).

I think this might be my favourite of all the cards you've done, along with Nin. The detail on the smaller vegetation/epiphytes/etc. is masterful.
