i know. my technique was very poor 2 years ago. i'm thinking about completetly re-photographing this subject
now i have better lights, more knowlegde and a tripod, so it should look much better

i don't have good sight. sometimes i look at a thumbnail and see something really diffrent. And that's where my ideas come from

Hi. Oh my goodness that is fantastic!
i love the contrast between red and green, such a simple concept that suggests that even though they are the same 'fruit' they differ in appearance and this could be a reason for them not being able to be together. touching a little on racial values, perhaps, like in some religions, i forget which one specifically, black/asian girls cannot date white boys...u catch my drift? ^^
if it were me i would carve the apples in wood but that just relates to my interests and current project at uni!

damn, always when I'm creating the work with a purpose to be "Great", then plan it for months, in the end it looks pathetic and poor. On contrary - when I make some random experimental shots for fun (like this), they get 90% of fav's in my entire gallery!

The needles and fruit bear a similar concept that of my friend Jacob's artwork...you wouldn't think it would be very interesting but it is SUCH a fun subject since not very many people have tried it!

Haha, yes. full of pain indeed--but it's kind of comical in a way. I like how he does his seasonal photoshoots. he does them all morbid on purpose to be opposite.
