Nope, the male voice acting was horrible and I like to get very immersed in the game so I only really play female characters when able.

I have to disagree. I believed the voice actor for male Shepard was adequate. As for he female Shepard voice, well it definitively sounded like a woman in charge, but she sounded more like a jerk than sounding like anyone would in a normal conversation. It was like listening to constantly disgruntled woman who did not accept anything good.

the male Shepard for me was flat and didn't bring the emotional element Jennifer Hale does to her work. I am sick of women in games have very feminine high pitched voices, Bioware opted for the alternative. As Shepard is a war hardened marine I think it was the perfect choice. Also I play renegade so she suits my play style perfectly. (MaleShep in the love scenes was horrendous, he was an emotionless drone). But it is good to hear his voice works for you, many of my male friends play female purely to escape the male voice acting.
