For those not familiar with chess: when a pawn reached the other side of the board it can be exchanged for one more of the other figures, for example a new queen ^^

I'm familiar enough with chess that this was my first thought at hearing that line too.
To be fair though, you can change it into any piece. People just tend to make it a queen most of the time because of it's power.

yeah i always thought it had alot of gay stuff in the game and Kain seems to be obsessed with keeping Raziel alive for some reason even though kain is more inclinded to kill people who piss him off.
