well you do a good job at both.
I remember back when I use to take art class light-source was always the most important thing. Sense then I've noticed it's really shading and light that separates artiest. being able to use such a dangerous souse shows a step above the rest when it comes to understanding light.
just wish I could draw myself... hehe.

ahhw, i almost feel bad if i read all this, what i actually do is blotting a spot of luminousity on a special layer for it and blotting smaller blots on the char and blending out xD I MEAN yeah i totally thought it through and such~ ahaha xD thank you

I think you could fix the finger problem by having the middle finger overlap the ring finger slightly.
