I cannot paint.
Not like this. I need lines. I need guides. The lineless, free-form stuff (I don't even know if it truly is but it appears to be) is absolutely beyond me. I've tried. The vision of a REAL artist is outside of my grasp and dedication and I know I'll never get beyond a hobbyist.
To be able to visualize what you want and just create it is a skill that I greatly envy. Especially when you incorporate shading, lighting and motion blur.
Again, I'm not familiar with the characters myself (and I admit to finding the 'pupil-less eyes' style a bit unnerving) but that doesn't change the fact that I recognize real talent when I see it, and man... this stuff is real!
