I always believed there are certain insect I wish not to observe in such a detail, but I was wrong. Even though I find this specie sort of repulsive, your capture - AMAZING focus and depth - is intensively elegant. Excellent photo !!!

Praying mantises are some of the most interesting insects on the planet. I love them. I can't understand someone being afraid of one. I remember finding one in my neighbor's bushes and I watched it for hours. Every so often its head would turn towards me and I was just so enthralled that it was watching me! Even let me touch it a few times. So cool.
