Now I wish I could tell you they had a whole bunch of little nutjobs and lived crazily ever after, but that’s not my story to tell.
Those two are now officially out of my hands, and much like a nanny waving goodbye to the children she helped raise, I can only wish them the best of luck.

As for poor old Ripper Richard, don’t feel bad for him : The poor devil died long ago.
What was left of him was merely a twisted reflexion of his past self, trapped between life and death, his mind wandering into an eternal fog of rage and guilt.

Believe me, wherever he is, he’s much better off.

I must confess, now that it’s over, I kinda wish I was more serious about this.
From the start, I figured it would be just another entry to some elaborate competition that would incidentally take my mind off of school work, but it turned into so much more than that.
It turned into a story I ultimately lost a little bit of myself into. Something i’ll surely remember all my life, as the first comic book story I ever told to the end (took me two years for god's sake !).
I know that one day I’ll read it all back and think to myself « I could have done it all better. It was worth it. ».

But as a crazy man once said:
"Don’t cry because it’s over,
Smile because it happened."

I do have an idea for a small epilog tho.
Maybe i’ll get around to do it. Shouldn’t be more than a couple of pages.

Right, like I haven’t heard THAT ONE before.
