Lots of people enjoy pictures that involve the inside of an instrument. This is a great piece of artwork that has clearly had time put into it. The colors are well done, and the textures on the sides are beautiful. I have seen this before, so it will be difficult to give 5 stars on originality, but it's definitely a good addition to the others. As for technique, I can't judge that much. I believe an artists idea is what makes the piece complete. I'm assuming this is what you wanted to make when you started. It's very alluring. - J

My first impression if the picture was, that it gave a very surreal vision of me either being shrunken or being captured in a giant violin. You managed to capture the light in an exciting way, highlighting the dust (smoke?), just enough, not too much. perfect.

It seems like a very old, dry, instrument? Maybe a bit more excitement could be obtained from a younger instrument, where more from the grain of the wood could be made more visible possibly?

the juxtaposition you created in this picture, playing with the light/dark is what grabbed me in this anyway: Well done!

This is a uniqe idea and it is wonderfull.
I am not to great with critique

But the idea colors and angle stands out very much and I look forward to see what else you might create.
How did you get the photo or draw it because i cant really tell the diffrence sometimes on all the art i look at.

The dekorative holes and the light just makes the dark inside pop and look lke if there is hidden magic in there.
Thank you for showing me something totally new.
Thank You.
With love, a newbie critquer,

Forgive any misspellings please?

Ok, I have to admit, I was sceptical at first.
I thought there would be a possibility of the work being original form someone else.
There will always be another person committing plagiarism.

After looking up this image and finding something to support the original source, I found it on National Geographic for Editor's choice

Very Nice, interesting concept, i love the fact that you can actually get a sense of an environment from the inside of a violin the lighting really sets the mood, really like the whole series you have.

Wow! When I first saw this image on the front page of Deviant Art I thought it was like an old building that someone photoshopped to have the symbols of an instrument in. I thought, "that's pretty neat. Nice photoshop work, I guess. Not sure why you would want to do that but whatever floats their boat." Out of curiosity, I hovered over the image. Was going to click on it for a closer look but changed my mind at last minute. Simultaneously I read the title name. "A VIOLIN?! That's WAY cooler than a photoshop piece!" I thought and had to see it up close. I was not disappointed. Lol. This is actually pretty amazing.

As a kid, I've always had this weird obsession with wanting to know what the inside of instruments actually looked like. At that age, I'm most certain I would have shrunk myself just to look inside one... and here you are, you amazing person you, making that weird childhood dream come true! I mean... I'm not small BUT I CAN see inside them, and that's just as awesome! (Probably better actually. Being that small sounds terrifying.) Lol.

I love the stains and stuff in it. It's so antique. It looks used in its time and yet in a really good shape. It is so beautiful! How did you get the light to shine through like that? What year was the violin made in, do you know? Also, how did you get your camera inside of it? Did you have to destroy it? Could I see the outside of it too? This is so oddly exciting to me, sorry for my long comment and million questions~ <3

Cellos, like Violins, Violas, and Double Basses, are all in the Viola Family of Instruments, also known in English as the Violin Family of Instruments.
They are, in the order I listed, the Violoncello, Violin, Viola, and Violon. Respectively "Small big viola, little viola, viola, and big viola" in the original Latin.
Again, though, translated to English they are all members of the Violin Family, while retaining their specific names.
