Aerrow crossed his arms stubbornly. He did not want a picture. His mother looked at him simpathetically. Giving him a quick kiss on the forehead she laughed as the red head siped it away with the back of his hand.
'Do you not want Daddy to see how big you've gotten?'
'But mum, WHY would he want a picture? Wouldn't it be easier if he just-just came home?'
'I'm sorry honey. Daddy can't come home.'
'But why?'
'He's... working.'
'When is Daddy coming home?'
'Soon honey... soon.'
It was a week and three days after thier conversation that Aerrow house was burnt to the ground, he hugged his mother tightly as the took refuge from Cyclonions under a large Oak tree. Aerrow closed his eyes tightly, as his mother sang him a lulluby over the top of the screams of local villagers. When Aerrow awoke, his mother was cold, drenched in blood. Never again has the boy wanted to sing that lulluby. -------
