I drew this back in my freshman year. Well, it was a tad bit different (the face was disgustingly happy with HUMONGOUS eyes). I've put a new coat on it, and much more happy with it. I guess I've been cheating with a few of my newer deviations in that I'm taking older works and redoing them. Is it cheating? I guess not...But it kinda feels like it...But what the hell!? Who cares!? It's my art!!!

Well actually, this pose was referenced from the Kingdom Hearts manga first volume when it came out and I was a big nerd for it. Kingdom Hearts 3 will take forever to come out, just like 2. Hell, Final Fantasy Versus 13 was announced 4 years ago and there isn't even an official English trailer for it, just Japanese. What the hey?! Oh well.

Ahem. So yeh, tried some new coloring styles in there if you couldn't tell, did the apply image onto new layer gaussian blur 3.0 25 opacity softness feel trick on this bad boy and I'm really liking the effect.

What's Sora pissed about? I don't know. It could be that beating up Heartless gets annoying, or maybe he be havin' girl problems with Kairi. Heck, it could be both. Or that Riku is taller than him. Whatever it is, he's pissed lol. And yep, that's a bomb in the bubble, conveniently drawn with the heartless spin on it. Cool huh!?! oh yeahh!!! kool aid man comes for me. perhaps my english is not making the much of the most sense at the now.

Okay. So that's all. Enjoy. Next piece, coming July 10th, for the competition!!! Oh, and fellow competitors, don't think I'm cheesing out on the entry, just felt I needed to do some of my own style of art before devoting the last hurrah of a flurry of attention and detail to realistic art!

And yes, I know the bubble was also conveniently placed to cover his arm. Not only because I probably couldn't draw it 6 years ago, but also the manga had a word balloon there and I wasn't creative enough. In the original one, I put my signature and my date. lol.
