Description
This is my Haunted House for pixeldam, its finally done. Inspired by ~miascugh 's graveyard. I used some colors from ~ multivitamin s cars and created my own by looking at his as an example, he is a very good artist.Specs.
Tool : Pixel by Pixel .. MS Paint
Colors : 235
Time : Over a month very much off than on
Thanks to everyone who comments on this peice, it took me a while and I am satisfied with what came out

Omigosh... what can I say! Wonderful wonderful wonderful... a nice diversion from the usual white and graphite (bluish) shades of (near-)futuristic buildings.

Very, very good work indeed. The amount of detail here is impressive, especially on the terrain. Only have two serious complaints here. One would be the lack of shadows. Actually, the lack of them do not harm this piece much, but for realism's sake, I believe it's an important thing to pass by in outdoor scenes. Also, I believe the colors you used for the car and the people do not match at all with the more pale shades of color you applied on the rest of the scene. You should have recolored them to match the whole thing, in my opinion.
Anyway, good job... and sorry to get on you so late. Congrats on the DD!

Beautiful pixel art, probably your best piece to date. The details in this one are superb, and I can definitely see the influence of the graveyard piece by ~miascugh as well.
I love all the textures from the fence to the ground around the house. It gives you that creepy vibe without the use of ghosts or a dark background. The house itself is full of texture and looks decrepid, perfect for a haunted house. The car outside is a nice touch, as well as the people on the sidewalk. Is that a realtor showing the house to unsuspecting buyers?
At any rate, the only fault I can see is that it's a rather small plot of land for a haunted house. I would expect it to have a larger yard and some iron gates out front, or something like that. But realizing that the PixelDam spaces aren't that large, I think you did well with the space. Great work, and congrats on the Daily Deviation.

This is just so great. I wouldn't have nearly enough patience for something like this, I wouldn't even know where to start.
It does give me an urge to dig out one of those old systems and play.. i dunno.. paper boy er, something.

Yeah its totally hard to begin thats why most people quit, but you learn quickly it just takes a long time for pixel art to become complete
