Description Mia's 3rd tier outfit from Radiant Dawn and equiped with the Silver Blade. I think I drew this one a wee bit smaller than it should be D:
This piece took a bit longer than the others, because of those extra belts on her outfit. It's probably not as bad as Lulu's outfit from Final Fantasy X...

After studying Concept Cookie's tutorial over on youtube about the basics of colouring, (yes, my brain just deleted all the archives of value and colouring, or I was never actually taught/don't remember about this in school), I haven't use any colour dodge/burn tools. Which is a plus!

Originally I was planning to colour the line (bombomdubbie.deviantart.com/ar… ), but I stuck with line instead. My older art pieces had some line coloured over, and I will go back and study how I use to do it.

The program I've been using for this (and the other two Mia pieces) is Krita.Β

Ah, Radiant Dawn. I liked how most (all?) units have unique models in that game.

This looks great. I like this style. Looks lively, contrary to what the solid line style may suggest. I can't say anything constructive, but still, great.

Agreed! Almost all characters of the same class have different outfits. I can't remember if that was the same case for Awakening though.

Thank you for your feedback. I will continue to practise in this style but with increased lighting/shadow in my next piece. If you would like, to spare a moment of your time to provide some constructive feedback when I update?

With Awakening and Fates, it really depends on individual units. Some units don't have unique models even for direct promotion paths.

Actually, what I meant was that I'm good at neither art nor art appreciation. I can tell whether I like something, but not why. But I do look forward to any potential update you may have!

Just don't do flat style. The last thing I need to be reminded of is how software companies have all given up.

Sorry for being late, I've been working all day lately ^^"

Anyway, this is stunning! Mia looks much more awesome and looks very badass. I can't see anything wrong now as regards body proportions, she looks so natural and you payed so much attention to her outfit details. I...really love her :3
You managed to improve significantly, I can't complain about anything XD Pose and expression are great, the sword is gorgeous and the coloring technique is the best I've seen from you so far <3
I should learn from you ahaha. You make me want to upload some of my stuff I drew during my spare time from my studies LOL.Β

Thank you very much
I was very glad how Trueblade turned out better than the Swordmaster one. To be honest, I was this pose was standard and the least boring one of all. I focused more time on this so the work has paid off positively

Bah, I'm a still mediocre. But it doesn't hurt to learn from each other's art styles/works. I'd like to see some of your pieces you done
