I think the expression of the face is decreasing the "power" of the black and white a bit... can't really get a good hold on the why, it's just a feeling.

wow, when i look at this picture it makes me think of people in our lives that try and make us, mold us in to something we are not. Parents or just people in our lives. Ya know what i mean.
