I wanted to draw somehow the attention on the fact that,... though she has almost escaped her pursuers, she is also ready to continue the fight in case she might be spotted.

Oh, i see, that's a really nice idea! I think it would be great to make the spot light more subtle on the edge of the sword, to emphasize the sharpness of her weapon.
