Description A crested rammer (family Maleocaphaliidae) walks by the Tenebran Ocean. The Thelocaud population in his part of East Tychia has begun dwindling because of the changing climate, extending the dry spells. Unable to find prey, he picks a direction and starts moving, hoping that there will be greener pastures whereever he is headed.

Rammers are a highly divergent group of cursorial Latapod that have developed a curious hunting strategy. Unlike most predators on earth, Rammers do not necks. Because of this, their ability to hold onto escaping prey, or to even detain it in the first place, is extremely lacking. Instead, they immobilize their prey by knocking them over, spelling almost certain death for rigid Thelocauds and fragile Dromeopods. Most rammers have fused most of their cephalic plates to avoid consussing themselves, and have elogated their legs and lost their ancestral pseudo-digits to facilitate quicker locamotion, similar to ungulates on Earth. The particular specimen pictured belongs to a group of adaptable mesocarnivore which utlitize pursuit hunting strategies.
