oh thanks! cheers mate ^_^

well advice.. mmm id say develop shape more than actual detail, its what makes DBZ look like DBZ. likem shape of hair. draw rough shape before u draw each individual spike. and with facial features, draw lkines so u get them in the right places. i see on ur profile page youve already looked into that tho., ur on a good path, just work on shapes and proportions of details. otherwise, practise practise practise

draw shapes. like sausage shapes that make up the structure before u draw clothes over it. that way u dont stuff up the proportion of the body. same principle with the hair. =]

yea im doing that now and its pretty good. i just need to get the proportions right i sorta made the legs too long. how about the muscles? when i draw then i dunno they look i dunno unreal i dunno how to say it but it doesn't looks like it.

check out and theyre excellent artists at DBZ and/or good muscle proportions. furan-san has a few anatomy drawings that would probly help you in understanding where muscles actually go on a person. as for me... umm muscles are sumthing you come to learn. like, learn about each muscle where theyre connected. i guess thats the only way to get it right. otherwise u end up drawing lumps everywhere hehe

i actually know where they go and stuff its just i cant draw them good. when i draw someone full body or in a pose should i use stick figures or shapes or like guidelines or should i go straight in?

definitely shapes! like shape of each limb by limb starting with the body, then probly head, then arms n legs..

umm that way u can adjust each limb if theyre out of proportion, and then wen u draw clothes on it, it wont look out of place!
