i designed this guy for a contest a long time ago, but he belongs to kittencrowns now! i redrew him though because he used to be a pony/merlion and he works much better as just a merlion i think.will there ever be an end to all the lion references i am going to make? who knows! (the answer is yes, i ran out of lion characters. i only had three)

i Agree omg merlions are so cool?? they're weirdly unpopular though like everyone is all dragons and gryphons and centaurs and harpys while completely ignoring an actual existing feline mythical creature itS SO WEIRD BECAUSE PEOPLE LOVE CATS AND MONSTERS

yEAH i love ari so much ggg. he's one of my favorite designs i've ever made when it comes to appearance, especially since his little redesign. it's just that i never really did anything with him; i made him as a contest entry so he didn't have a backstory and i'd drawn him like twice tops, that's the only reason i gave him away at all, eheh
