what a very fine tree - as i said, i love willows...
we had one extremely big one in the village where i lived before... when i moved there, i heard they were discussing to cut it off, because it was so old and unsound already... but most people in the village wanted it to stay... so, every time i brought my daughter to the kindergarten we said greetings to that fine old tree... it always had many birds in it and was a wonderful sight...
after some years, during a big storm, i heard a loud and sort of "fat" crash - we went to look - that old willow had broken in two pieces and one of those had crashed down right across the street into the next garden, crushing down a big part of the hedge!
wow!
i have been searching of a photo that i took when it was still standing there, but couldn't ind it yet...

but a very nice photo you took of this pleasant willow...

Thank you ! This is an awesome willow, huuuge ! I hope it doesn't get cut, but I agree that if it ever falls down, it will completely destroy the houses around it O_O ... I don't think it is prone to break cos is not hollow, but if a thunderbolt hits it, that would do ..only that, there is no thunderbolts around here or mountains, or snow ... just sea

Thanks ! 'twas one of my earliest, it is a gorgeous tree indeed~ near by my place there is a pond, in the pond there is gazillion geese, and they all sleep under a huge willow tree ... a symbol of patience ? umhh interesting ..why ? sorry ...I'm curious lol

hoomet In reply to BobCatD [2012-10-07 15:24:16 +0000 UTC]

I don't know why I consider it like that! maybe I have been influenced with Persian ancient literature or mysticism and Sufism beliefs exist in our famous poems! so weeping willow is lunatic

BobCatD In reply to hoomet [2012-10-10 09:49:55 +0000 UTC]

I don't think I've read enough Persian ancient literature ...tsk tsk tsk... but I've read Rumi ! ahem, lemme recall..umhhh oh, this awesome line " the heart and the mind are left angry with each other" sublime! ... nothing dark like Baudelaire ... Lunatic weeping willow tree awww

hoomet In reply to BobCatD [2012-10-27 09:13:03 +0000 UTC]

Yeah Rumi is well-known, sufi beliefs and poetry. I rather Khayam poems, more philosophic and acceptable with current modern life. There is an English translation of his poems by Fitzgerald. it is also available online.

I've set aside poetry and gone into re-reading Alexander Of Tocqueville Democracy In America, very hard to believe the book was written gazillion years ago

moonlight? looks like 2012 sunshine to me, the first year sunshine looked ... well, different. it has, right?
i know it has, we're all living in it but most are'nt bothering to notice.
i love weeping willows, they are so beautiful in the wind... and of course we make aspirin from it to, which is infinitely useful, and also it can be trained to grow into almost any shape you desire if you start shaping them while they are young!

BobCatD In reply to simonpark81 [2012-08-19 01:48:02 +0000 UTC]

Aww thanks for your comment ! ~It is not moonlight , it was taken earliest Jan of this year in the afternoon. and... it is noticeable the solar changes and everything in between, it has been a strange year insofar O__o ... now, shaping willows? ...that sounds lie a Bonsai technique !me want !

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

simonpark81 In reply to BobCatD [2012-08-19 11:39:27 +0000 UTC]

yup, the victorians perfected the technique of shaping living willows into benches, and tunnels and other such useful things...
[link]
and the solar changes are happening big time this year! its the most powerful solar maximum on record-though of course the records only say what those in charge want said.

Ahh the Arch ! those lovely structures Awww they are willows ! wow... in regards to sun related stuff, I must say that I used to love sunbathing and when you are a sun lover, you just know when something is awry .... ugh sad.

i love those willow structures so much.... great way to create things from trees without killing them
yup...is the solar maximum this year, there has been more flares than ever before in recorded history... nasa say the sun may be getting ready to do something big, something they have not seen before. they think it may blast out a huge magnetic wave- it gives off small magnetic waves all the time but it is showing signs of something bigger brewing within.
september 20th-30th is their estimate.... but they are being very quiet about it.
they think it could knock out all electronics for a while.

sorry to mingle in - i noticed the first heavy change in sunlight last year in august/september... the sunlight got fierce somehow - very white, even into the evening sunset... we got the orange/red light not before the sun was behind the horizon, and then it was still more cold pinkish than usual...
but i think that comes mostly from that stuff (whatever it is) that they spray into the sky with these big white planes...
when i drove up to the coast last year i saw a quite normal sunset just about 100 kms away from my place... so it can't be the sun itself...
during this summer, they quit spraying for about two months and you could watch the sunlight slowly normalize again... just two days after they started spraying again, the light got fierce white again... buh, i don't like that at all, it makes me feel uncomfortable when i go walking through the fields...
as to the electricity - i just gave "bobcatd" a link to one of my pictures, and i wish to show you either...

greetings

simonpark81 In reply to feldrand [2012-10-18 15:29:35 +0000 UTC]

I agree, there is definately something afoot. i ave searched deeply this subject and i think it is partly the trails the planes leave behind-always the white ones, up high... they do it just where the sunset will be for the most part.
as a fellow nature lover i feel your grief, im also trying to figure out why they would do such things. i fear its mostly about money and power.
...those with money wanting to keep all the power...
visited your page... hello!
listening to your song also...

feldrand In reply to simonpark81 [2012-10-22 16:10:34 +0000 UTC]

... did you find out, whoever sends these planes or where they do start from? to me it seems like a mystery - no one really knows it...
just found this one in my gallery...

ha, which one did you listen to?

simonpark81 In reply to feldrand [2012-10-23 15:27:35 +0000 UTC]

well, here are a few of the irate responses when the governments of the western "free" world openly admitted what they are spraying and "why"..
its supposed to reverse the effects of global warming but the effect of metal particles building in the body is damaging to our health.
the link will take you to a youtube selection, the first two links at the top are just promo - youtube stuff,
just peruse the page and see what you think, there are a lot of vids on this.

i listened to the lullaby one, very laid back and pretty.
so far, every german person i have met online plays some form of instrument or other. im living in the wrong country!
