|AboutLogo proposals for wiredot.com a web design studio. They asked me to design the logotype and I came with the first 6 ones. Then, they asked me to evolve a little more the 3, 4 and 6 logo concepts from the first proposal adding some "iconic"images to the typo.
Anyways, none of these were accepted.
Illustrator CS3, 100% vector.

3 is nice. Could be better with a heavier weight to it thought. Feels flimsy. I like the concept though. 4 is interesting as well, but I feel that would work either if the company was established enough that the audience would know that the company name was "wiredot" and not just "wire" with a period at the end. It could also work if it was accompanied with an advertising campaign that taught the viewer how to pronounce it, much like what Hyundai did a couple years back in the US to help bring up brand recognition.

a pity that they didn't accept any of these great logos.
my personal favourite would be 04/C.
in my opinion it's the most harmonic and complete. it combines simplicity with a nice touch of perspective depth.

The only one I remember for sure is this one . But in general I converted them to outlines to be modified and can´t really say.

I've never really understood how people even begin to design a good logo, but to see your concepts and their evolutions is amazing!

Sí! También hice 2 logotipos para ellos. Me enviaron un email a pedirme y, despues, dijeron que habían elegido otra propuesta de otro designer. Bahh!

Some of the more abstract ones (third, fourth, anf fifth rows) would make great icons for personal/desktop use, in the general style of AMANA and the first Gaia releases. If you could release them I'd love it.

Ahi estan los datos de los dueños del dominio por si los queres buscar y llevar a badalostia, ahi los agarramos y le "diseñamos" la identidad.

jajajajaja q bueno tio.
No sé, a mi todo este rollo siempre me olió un poco mal, pero es lo que pasa cuando hay pasta de por medio, que uno necesita de comer y sobretodo de beber (en mi caso). Ya vi que por dA hay muchas de entradas de logos para esta gente. A mi me metieron mogollón de prisa en los plazos de entrega basandose en que iban a colgar la web en breve y de eso hace ya como 3 meses y de la web no hay noticias ni se la espera...
Lo que no entiendo es que saca alguien engañando a la gente en este tipo de historias. Yo por mi parte jamás les entregué nada usable, todo era con watermark y en formato jpg as usual así que en el fondo me da igual lo que hagan, pero bueno, es lo que hablamos una vez de lo que pasa por dA...Necesito acabar el portfolio pero ya.

Todavia no probe el vs tito, en esta pc no tengo el crack para los vs, en cuanto tenga tiempo lo trato de poner.
En cuanto a entregar cosas con watermark, cualquier usuario de illustrator avanzado te vectoriza la marca que les pases aunque tenga watermak y sea de 50px x 50px y despues lo usan como quieren. Como digo siempre todos los que estafan son los que miran dA, apurate con el portfolio.
