This is kinda where I don't wanna end up in my life. Being so rich that I have everything... It's not really worth it. And preachy as it sounds, what's worth it for me in my life is to help those around me, being kind to meet faces and spending time with friends and family 
I think for your character here, I think maybe with the money, he can help around the world by supporting poor family, funding foundations, or even spend some for his own family that they always wanted or wanted to go. It'll be lovely.
That's what I'd do if I was rich.... But then again he might just waist it on beer and women. XD Who knows?
