Alfred has as much demons as the next guy, but while Francis seems to linger in a mildly depressed state, hoping that facing his demons will make them go away, Alfred ignores and locks his in, for as long as he can untill they pile up and make him burst in despair from time to time.It might seem unhealthy, but the different ways they have of dealing with what's wrong actually makes them perfect for each other:
Most of the times Alfred can be the optimistic and proactive guy who pushes Francis forward.
But when he feels bad, it's so bad it makes him physically sick and he wants to kill himself, and being alone in these times would be unbearable.
Francis is there for him and he's especially good at supporting him cause he's both tender and stable.
More than just a couple, they are true allies.

It's just that I tend to be a bit self concious about painting, cause I never really learned and I don't know what I'm doiing, but of course the solution to that is to practise more^^

I understand that completely! I can't say I've been feeling very inspired these days! But I think it helps to focus more on the technique when the inspiration is low. It helps get something done and it can then motivate you to do more^^

no, I used acrylics, it gives more texture but it wasn't easy. I'm really a beginner with thick paint, I'm not used to it^^

C'est ma partie préférée du dessin^^ J'ai bien galéré à peindre tout ça à l'acrylique mais ça donne tellement de texture, que je ne renonce pas à l'utiliser. L'acrylique selon Blume Shullman: c'est long, c'est chiant, ça pue, ça sèche trop vite... mais parfois ça vaut le coup. XD
