Dapple is a very protective cat. Some might even say that she's a little overprotective. She would protect the few cats that she actually cares about with her life which is why she loves her position as a warrior apprentice. Learning how to protect her clan is very vital to her, and she would be heartbroken if she couldn't do that any longer. Being a clan cat, Dapple is also protective over her clan in general. If someone were bad mouthing her clan or someone she knew, she'd probably intervene.

|Brave| "I'd do anything for my clan. That's kind of the point of being a warrior."
Dapple is also brave which she needs to be in order to be a warrior. She wouldn't hesitate to tell someone that they're doing something wrong or ask someone to go on a hunting patrol with her. The only thing that she would not want to ask someone would be to help her. She doesn't want to feel needy or weak, so she likes to do things alone. Dapple would run into battle without thinking in an instant. Her bravery is a good thing, but it also leads to her being sort of reckless.

|Loyal| "I'll stay by your side forever. There's no changing that."
This she-cat is very loyal when it comes to kin and her clan. If you're apart of either of those things, Dapple will stay by your side and back you up even in the most difficult of situations. She'd never think for a moment to betray her clan or her friends and family. The very thought of hurting someone she knew by not being there for them urks her.

|Snarky/Sarcastic| "Wow, you are so strong, and by strong of course I mean as weak as a kit. Someone needs to do some more training."
Dapple isn't exactly the nicest cat around. She likes to act tough and talk tough. If someone leaves room in a conversation for any sort of sarcastic remark, she'd probably be sure to fill the void. She also uses her snarkiness to hide her true emotions. If she were having a particularly hard day, she'd have a very sharp-tongue to anyone not prepared for it.

Dapple is very flirtatious. If you have a pulse, you can bet your bottom dollar that this cat will hit on you. She doesn't care what color your pelt is or your personality. Dapple just likes to have fun with other's emotions. She likes to see how far someone will go before she can finally break them. Sun also likes to make cats feel a bit better about their looks, so she thinks this helps with their self esteem.

|Jealous| "They have something I want, and I'm either going to take it or hate them for it."
Dapple hates when others get treated better than she does. It bothers her beyond belief for another cat to get something that she has never had before. Whether it be a position or an actual item, if she wants it, she will try and take it from you. Most of her jealous behavior is done silently however. She broods on it for days before she lets it sink in that she doesn't want or need what someone else has, but if it's really good, expect Sun to come around one day to talk to you about it.

History

Kithood:
Dapple was born to two loyal Skyclan cats in new-leaf with her sister. She was born weak and feeble, and her parents feared that the frail she-cat wouldn't make it. Dapple surprised them however and made it all the way through to leaf-bare before her health declined. The constant cold air on the small she-cat made it harder for her to fight off illness, and she found herself in the medicine cat den for moons upon moons, trying to cure her from her ailments. Her parents and sister visited her frequently and raised her spirits during their times together. She felt bad about worrying them so much, but in the end, that only mad her push harder to get better.

Apprentice:
Dapple was still a sickly cat when it came time to become an apprentice. She was just well enough to make it to her apprentice ceremony, but she often had to take time off of training due to her health. As time passed and her slow training regimen continued, the cats her age started to take their warrior names while she was still stuck a weak apprentice. Anger and jealousy boiled inside of her as everyone she had grown up with became warriors, and she vowed that she wouldn't be an apprentice for any longer. Dapple told her mentor that she wanted to be the best warrior she could be. She wasn't quick, but she had strength on her side. Even when she was ill, she was quick to pin even bigger cats. She knew the longer fights went on the more likely she was to get tired. The trick was to end the fight as quickly as possible.
The need to be stronger drove away any signs of sickness as she progressed further and further into her training. Her mentor and the medicine cat were astonished that the sickly feline that they had known just a moon ago was now a formidable foe. It might have taken a lot longer than most apprentices take to become a warrior of their clan, but Sun has worked harder than most cats to get the position she wants.

We ended up near the thunderpath, watching the fog disperse when we both decided it would be fun to try and cross the thunderpath. He... saved me from a monster, and then, we cleaned the mud off each other, so we wouldn't get caught when we went back to camp. The sun was just beginning to peak over the horizon when Ryder woke from a pleasant dream. It was a nice change from all the horrible nightmares he had been having since returning to the herd. It was like he could feel the anger and betrayal from the others. They were upset that they had left them when the Exiles needed them the most. When they had left, Ryder had doubts that they would let them back in the herd, but it seems they needed numbers more than anything right now especially with a war right around the corner. The brown paint stood on stiff legs. The wound on his chest still ached, but it was healing nice enough. The jagged scar it was leaving behind definitely wasn’t pleasant to look at though. ‘It’s a wonder that Effie hasn’t mentioned it yet. This thing could scare younger horses,’ he thought, thinking about how their child would react to having a battle-scarred father. Ryder snorted. He’d just have to be extra nice to the foal, then maybe it won’t be afraid of him. With a sigh, he moved on stiff legs, looking around the herd at all the sleeping figures and trying to find the one he was looking for. The guards watched him closely to make sure he didn’t run away or cause any sort of mischief. He gave them an odd look as if to say, ‘Why on earth would I think of hurting any of these horses?’ They just gave him a curt nod, glancing away for a moment to look at the tall grass behind them. Ryder returned his attention to his search, and he grinned when he finally found her. The grey and white guard was sleeping on the outskirts of a small group of mares and foals, and Ryder walked up, placing his head on her withers. “Good morning, dear,” he said in a soft voice, not wanting to wake her too abruptly. //
