I LOVE sailor!Norway
There's no point in trying to understand Norway's face of utter blis if you've not listened to Sjømannsvise (seaman's tune) by gnom, a kickass Norwegian band. Here, have the song [link]

and YES GNOM haha... oh, by the way! You're from Norway, right? Can I ask you something? I'm getting down to learning Norwegian... it's been one of my greatest aspirations ever... I loved Norway even before hetalia xDD (hetalia makes you love everything) So yeah, well. The thing is there are super few teachers of Norwegian here in Argentina and until I find one I want to do some learning on my own. For listening and pronounciation I always resorted to music, but it's being hard to find Norwegian bands that help me. Because Gnom is awesome but they sing in dialect or something strange, right? instead of saying 'jeg' they say 'eg' and say it also different than I'd learnt. SO it's kind of confusing.
Ugh, sorry, I kind of strayed from the initial point, which was, do you have any band to reccomend that sing in 'standard' or... hum... 'good to learn' Norwegian?

Ahhh...right. Well, Norwegian has a lot of dialects and thus it's hard to find singers who sing in what you might try to learn.
However "Karpe diem" are rappers from Oslo and worth checking out.
"Bjørn Eidsvåg" is also a good singer, and you can try looking up "Vamp" as well.
Hopefully they might be easier to learn from
