This latest work isn't quite done (IMO), but I'm going to submit it anyway.In my fanfic "Sleepwalking" [link] Misty is a few years older when she meets Ash again.
Although I didn't specify exactly how much older she was--except "still in her teens," I thought 17 (pushing 18) was a good probability, and I've been trying to envision what my favorite Pokegirl might look like at that age.
What do y'all think?

Yup-yup-yup... It was the line of the song "You were the first--you'll be the last..." line of the first stanza that hit me while I was driving... Until last week, I hadn't heard this song in years!

Damn--you're good! Really! Remember how I said it was "unfinished?" The unfinished part--which I'm still considering adding is a "jaw-agape" Ash in the background (either below "small" or above "large")!
It's funny--because I based her hair on a real life teenager I observed in church, and her pose I borrowed from a photo of a real life girl modeling a prom dress!

What can I say? I know my Pokemon characters, certain ones especially, since I am an AAML supporter. The pose is nice... it almost looks like she's showing off her butt... I wonder what he'll have to say about that? I look forward to seeing your finished work.

I'm actually working on drawing Misty and Ash slightly older--in preparation for what I hope will be my "high water mark/magnum opus" of AaML work. It's going to take me a while and lots of drawing practice... I'll keep y'all posted!

Thank you... I tried to factor in some slight "growing/stretching" of the face. I "borrowed" the look of the hair from this teenage girl (who looked around the right age) who just happened to be sitting in the pew right in front of me during church today (yesterday).
