More Homestuck! This time John and Casey, his beloved adoptive salamander daughter! xDI always wanted to draw him with his heir of breath clothes, jagsjkfgk they are so pretty~ (*cough* and blue *cough* lololo)
The lineart was done by cleaning the sketch, I had never done that before, and I also tried some light effects, so this picture is pretty much an experiment with techniques.
Lately everyone has been drawing sad pictures of John, so I felt like drawing a happy one! lol I know last update was depressing, but calm down guys, he'll be okay! I'm sure!
ps: I'm pretty sure the random book must be Nicholas Cage's biography or something, we are talking about John here lololo
EDIT: I Fixed something, which was REALLY stupid, I won't even say what lol I hope no one noticed....x'D

ANYWAYYSSS~ I love his expression! And his teeth haha. He looks like an adorable character <3333 And man, clening up the sketch must have been a pain. My sketches most of the time are crazy looking and hard to tell what lines are what :'DDD So are my... linearts. LOL. BUT YES this is really cute. I love your soft style :'D And the anatomy and proportion look sweet!
