Thank you very much! From what I've seen you can shade very well! All I really do is try to keep a fairly steady pressure and try not to lift the pencil too much for this style

It took about 45 minutes/hour. I use staedtler pencils [link] I used 3B for the line art and h and hb for the shading, they're my favorite to use
They're fantastic pencils!

that's cool~! I use a regular mechanical pencil... I do have some cretacolor pencils [link] that I used for [link] but typically I stick to plain-ol' papermate. only because that's what I'm used to.

another question, on average how much do you erase?

oh, those look like nice pencils and seem to work good! I know what you mean about sticking with what you're used to- I saw my sister use the pencils I currently use so that's why I originally bought these particular ones.

Hmmm...If I'm drawing just to draw stuff I do most of my erasing for the sketchy lines; but if I have a strong visual in my mind I want to get it as close as I can; so I do a lot of erasing to get what I want...but specifically I have no idea haha!

and okay I actually understand completely what you mean. I am somewhat the same way actually :3 I usually erase a lot though~ haha
