Well, Digimon Zone is about the adventures of an organization of DigiDestined, Tamers, and later on DATS Agents and Generals, who travel the Digital Multiverse to other Digimon Universes or "Zones" to assist and protect the inhabitants from both local and foreign threats.
The Zone Tamers or "Zoners" for short are a mix and match of original characters like mine Daniel "Blue" Ike and official characters like Davis Motamiya. The Zoners and their Digimon use the current abilities of the Zone they are in, for example Frontier Zone's Spirit Evolution, by 'Customizing' it into their Digivice Customs or "D-Customs". With this collection of abilities, a Zoner can Customize their Digimon to better suit the foe at hand.

(Essentially they're Easter Eggs. Since NT Warrior also had a strong Digital World style influence in it's story. Especially more so in the manga! The Easter Egg also refers to characters from Legendz, which was also a Bandai-WiZ product like Digimon and Shinzo, an early Toei Animation anime which also shares some similarities to Digimon.)

Cameos galore.
Yep, delivery boy, that is what you get for not being an official Bandai Japan approved Character, Hikaru. Masuken probably got the Captain's job and Teru did get no job because being around him is unhealthy among other things. Makes me wonder waht Kyoshi does.
Zero really looks XV-mon-ish here, rather than V-dramon-ish.
Oh, just noticed that Dawn's family name is Kamiya. Happen's to be the family name of my Dawn ( you know, the girl that uses the look of the female PC in Sunburst and considers herself the Alternate of "Kari Kamiya" in her Dimension, despite there actually being an Alternate of Yagami Hikari, which Dawn considers an imposter ). Still, not gonna rename her as Dawn fits well as a name and makes itself also a nice "Digimon-Version" of another Hikari.
Dawn:" Know that my name is Dawn Kamiya! I'm this dimensions Version of Kari Kamiya!"
Dusk:"Just that the name is actually Hikari Yagami and one of those is around. She even has a Team of Tailmon, Wizarmon and an as of now unseen third Digimon, while your Team consists of Penmon, Lopmon and Mammon!"

Dusk: "Just saying the truth!"
