Something I did to get in some practice with my color pencils... Love how the hair came out (minus it being a tad bit too dark) but i'm not so happy with her face OTLPoor poor Tabby... I almost always feel like I mess up on your face ;~;

haha Well I don't know either. I thought it was my inactivity but even with posting a bit more frequently this year nothing has really changed... Maybe I'm just bad at this whole thing. I also don't feel like I can be too upset about it because there are a lot of amazing artists, leagues beyond my skill level, who also don't get recognition for their work... xD; I feel more bad for them then I do for myself.

At least your art get recognized by -some- people.
No matter how much recognition you have on this site,
you're always going to want more because you feel crushedΒ
by the recognition other users get.Β
You could always have hundreds of thousands of views,
but if the talent isn't quite there you wont feel at home.
At least you can feel good about having the talent,

In my opinion everyone has a way to go in terms of talent,
as you can never really be perfect at anything, especially art.
But when you take the time to really do what you love,
you'll definitely see improvements over time, and that's what it's really about
