Description
Where I left off, James is being pushed by Troublesome Trucks and Thomas is rushing to the rescue.This is sort of like a comic: Thomas is trying to catch up to the breakvan, who is being dragged behind the trucks. James suddenly comes off the rails and goes flying, losing his hat and the trucks fall after him. Thomas stares in shock at the crash and approaches the scene, carrying James' battered hat and finding James looking hurt and dirty.
Thomas then heads back to the yards, where he will get help to save James.

Why are the trucks faces are dirty?

It's shows how they are naughty and the dirt also represents the many accidents they've had over the years. In other words (in a religious way) the dirt symbolizes how they have sinned by hurting others.
