Ah, you think It's a male? My mom thought It was definitely a female. Well, I just drew.
Yeah, I didn't shade his/her lips right, you know the dip right over your lips...
The horizontal lines are just a pattern. I was too lazy to make a new one, so I just used the one which I had created a while ago.
All my patterns are on the other computer...

Now, I don't know If what you said Is good or not, but ok.

yeah I was debating on whether to say his or her, but I didn't see boobs, so I was like "ah well" tehe

Not all girls have boobs. Also, you could interpret the crease(on both sides) under where they should be as an indication that she has something that lies beneath.
However, the creases could also infer that he is slimmer beneath the chest area.

i knew you were going to say that, but one of the main images of girls are breasts, so it's not out of the ordinary to expect to see some when looking at a female.

Oh yes, I see what you mean. I'll keep that in mind when draw again.
I haven't done many pencil shadings, though, so anything else to add with what you have to say would be great. Thanks for your input.
