thank you, thank you! i'm really glad you like it... it could be the polaroid that gives it more intimacy...i could never achieve this look with digital (unless tweaking it in psp).
i'm not familiar with nan goldin's work..by i'm gona google it right now

it may be hard to find much... she's pretty tenacious about her copyright... so there isn't always good examples of her work... it might be more interesting to go to a library and check out a couple of her books... maybe at calarts?...

anyway, let me know what you think of her work... i'm curious...

ok, i familiarized myself with her work...i really love it.. it's scary..i'd choose the same subjects/actions/people...and how much i wanted my images to look like hers ..without ever really seeing it before...i saw some books of hers on amazon, that i'll get..

she's a good kindred spirit... and i think her work is gorgeous... she turns snapshots into images with the elegance and poise of classic paintings...
