So I just watched Princess and the Frog earlier tonight and LOVED IT!!! GOD IT WAS WONDERFUL <3 It was one of those things where now I just want to draw these two over and over. I'm currently working on coloring this, but I have issues with coloring on photoshop...I'm really excited about getting prismacolors for christmas....!Related content

Hehehe I'm going to once I finish studying for my art history exam tom >.< OMG there has been so much controversy about it! People are mad about just about everything these days! They complain that Naveen is white / Naveen is black when he's NEITHER, he's ambiguously brown and from a made-up country. They complain about how Tiana has wider hips/lips because it's stereotypically black, but if they weren't they'd complain about how she's too white-looking, and they complain about her wanting to own her own restaurant because it promotes the whole "woman in the kitchen" deal despite the fact that she's a TOTAL BADASS ABOUT IT AND DOESN'T PUT UP WITH PEOPLE'S SHIT. Gah.
Aside from the controversy, it's an absolutely FABULOUS movie, they really captured New Orleans perfectly~ And it turned out EXACTLY like I wanted it to - no, even better than I wanted it to. Both Tiana and Naveen are new favorites of mine, and their character development is TO DIE FOR <3
Anyhow. I'll stop procrastinating work now...GO SEE IT!

I held myself back from crying (I was watching it with my friend who's practically a robot) but the ending was PERFECT PERFECT PERFECT. It was exactly how I wanted it to be, y'know?

Yeah, it was absolutely beautiful! I saw it with a few friends who are just as emotional as me, so they didn't make fun of me when I cried. Oooh, I loved the last scene, it was just perfect!

I know <3 and you could tell that it was mutual, but Tiana keeps her feelings on the inside a lot - I just loved how Disney gave you insights into BOTH characters, y'know? It made them so much more dynamic <3
