Alrighty so I've been working on my human figures. Hopefully she turned out well. And I made a feathered raptor. Woohoo! I couldn't help myself with putting in a dinosaur. My two favorite things.
If anyone can guess where I got the inspiration for this piece I will grant you the choice of the next PaleoProfile. Leave your answer in the comments.

I understand you hoping you female figure turned out well. Well, I'm here to tell you she looks a heck of a lot better then mine. I have the worst luck drawing females.

I appreciate the comment. It had taken me a long time to get this far. Keep practicing and don't get too frustrated. It helped me a lot to look at the human skeleton. I used a lot of shapes when I draw people. Keep it up and you'll be makin some sweet peeps!

Liking the figure and the picture in general but my 1 criticism is... Her hair style obviously isn't what it's portrayed as in Jurassic World but I think that's a good thing really, What made you go for longer locks instead of what's on screen?
P.s. The feathered Raptor reminds me of a Blackbird chick, Adorable!

I must apologize, you'll have to clarify your question for me. You'll have to help me with the hairstyle comment. I wasn't aware of there being a Gwen in Jurassic World. I know Claire was the main female. I thought I totally made this character up. lol I took Owen and put a G on it for her name.

Ohh right, I typed in "Jurassic World Gwen" because I forgot her name and it looks like her and it came up with who I guessed was the main female aforementioned in the film and she has short hair and wondered why you have her with long hair instead but hey you just said it's a made up character so I must apologise for me being daft again, Actually thats a clever name swap

No worries. Thank you for clarifying. Honestly drawing this picture has been a long time coming and I'm still practicing. It's all been a product of sitting down and drawing person after person.
