Description
While the new 'All-Out Attack' and 'Close-up' is still in the sketch phase, I decided to make a new Ash and friends with their Persona-style tarot cards remade by whom I feel the most fitting one to the character.

Ash (The Fool)
Symbolism: Innocence, divine inspiration, madness, freedom, spontaneity, inexperience, chaos, and creativity.
Reason: He is the main hero of the series. He is known for his self journey forge bond with friends and Pokemon, as well as collecting regional badges for the regional Pokemon Leagues.

Misty (Empress)
Symbolism: Mothers, prosperity, creativity, sexuality, abundance, fertility and comfort.
Reason: She is the first travel companion of Ash, and taught Ash the basic of battles. Although she and Ash are friends, she is known for a very hotheaded female authority like asking for bike replacement. Later, since having baby Pokemon like Togepi and later Azurill, she become motherly to them.

Brock (Magician)
Symbolism: Action, initiative, self-confidence, manipulation and power.
Reason: Despite being the oldest and the wisest of the gang, he is actually the first male travel companion of Ash and typically the perverted male characters for hitting random women. Despite of this, he does not have a long-term canon romantic couple as an ongioing theme of that arcana.

May (Chariot)
Symbolism: Victory, conquest, self-assertion, control, war and command.
Reason: She has a very driven personality and aiming for the top Pokemon Coordinator at any cost. However, She can also be aggressive and short-tempered when things got in trouble like stolen food and embarassing stories.

Max (Justice)
Symbolism: A strict allegory of justice, objectivity, rationality and analysis.
Reason: A very intelligent boy whose learn from the books that matters fairness. Sometimes he is stoic when he helps and communicates with Pokemon by himself.

Dawn (High Priestess)
Symbolism: Hidden knowledge or other untapped power, wisdom, female mystery and patience
Reason: A very intelligent Pokemon Coordinator using move combinations to her advantage in battles, as well as teaching Ash the latter and other tricks. She is very reserved and quiet as well.

Iris (Strength)
Symbolism: Morality about the stronger power of self-control, gentleness, courage and virtue over brute force.
Reason: She has several struggles like a hard training to become Dragon-type master. Furthermore, She had two disobedient Pokemon and needs her strength of heart to gain control.

Cilan (Hierophant)
Symbolism: An education, authority, conservatism, obedience to rules and relationship with the divine.
Reason: He is older than Ash and wise and logical, particularly his evaluation with food puns. He also tends to role play various jobs by himself like being a detective or fisherman.

Serena (Lovers)
Symbolism: A symbol of love and romantic relationships, finding agreement with an ordinary friend and even two conflicting elements within.
Reason: She is popular (storywise) and highly emphasis on social interaction with friends. Notably she has almost always have romantic interest with Ash.

Clemont (Emperor)
Symbolism: The desire to control one's surroundings, and its appearance could suggest that one is trying too hard to achieve this.
Reason: An inventor who tries hard to invent some gears that always end up malfunctioning. He also doesn't know how to deal with the girls chosen by his Bonnie.

Bonnie (Wheel of Fortune)
Symbolism: Fate and varying luck, fortunes and opportunities.
Reason: She is aware of Pokemon behaviour and personality, tending to call various Pokemon cute, even tough looking ones, but she also trying find the ideal girls for Clemont.
