My final for my Photography class was a photo journalism essay. I chose to do it on Schizophrenia--something a close relative of mine has. I wanted to portray the feeling of chaos and paranoia he always felt, the doubt and frustrations; a 'Day in the life' if you will.

There's about 11-12 shots in the study, but right now I'm only submitting my three fave shots from it. I'll submit all the others when I get more time.

This shot in particular was supposed to show the wealth of knowledge that he usually has, but typically can't access. Schizophrenics are usually all over the place, and can't get their ideas in order. So, I figured a book case brimming with books was kinda symbolic of that.
