In case you haven't read my journal, or checked my blog, I have a neurological disorder. The doctors prefer to medicate me half to death and on my best days, I'm in a great deal of pain and have such shaky hands that I sometimes flub mundane tasks. In spite of this, I am trying to resume practicing some of the art I used to enjoy before they became an object lesson in struggle.
This is one of my first attempts at making a pendant since then. While it looks 'good' if you don't pay too much attention, the main stone is a little bit crooked. Sadly, I don't know if I can pry it apart to start over or anything like that, so it'll be as it is. I'm trying to console myself in the knowledge that I've seen other items in the department stores selling for full price with crooked stones and shoddy design elements all the time. I will likely make this into something for myself, since I can't, in good conscious, sell or give it away.
