inspired by the lovely abstract nouveau machinations of Charles Rennie McIntosh for the Willow Tea Rooms in Glasgow (i think), and the wonderful art of Lady Frieda Harris for Aleister Crowley's Thoth Tarot deck. would've loved to submit this together with another art nouveau-themed luminary i'm making, but - alas, work is getting on the way of its completion. the faux effect i tried approximating here (and failed miserably at doing it) is faux leather.materials: craft paper, card stock, illustration board, watercolour pencils, acrylic, poster paints, contact cement, lotsa oil varnish.
