Description
Finished piece for Malincor. This thing took me a good while to complete, but I'm actually pretty happy with it. The actual piece is pretty large, one of the largest I've done. Learned a few things too, finally got the scales down I think. I also got to play around a bit with things I've picked up from classes these past years. So overall, I'm happy with it.Related content

Well, I haven't been for a while, trying to work on a "come back". My attempts to find a job after graduating have been taking up most of my spare time, and haven't had much chance to draw these days, but thanks for checking back in on me! ^_^

Thanks! Yeah, I decided on a single light source to keep it simple. I was thinking of adding more in there, but the guy had waited long enough for me to get this done so I figured I'd do my best with a single one.

Wow, the scales turned out fantastic on this! I also like how the bricks in the walls and the floor turned out, the lighting hits them perfectly.
I was going to give you suggestions on the WIP, but I saw that a lot of people already mentioned a lot 
Overall, great job on this! It's always nice to see something this detailed coming from you. I am still in awe on the wrinkles in clothing you can do, and the colors you've chosen are really great. Fantastic job

No, you called it. The perspective isn't the greatest. I was following it for a while there, but I lost my measuring lines after so long, so the perspective started to fall apart. That and I was attempting one of those wide angle lens effects where the background sorta starts to warp a little, if you know what I'm talking about... but alas, epic fail. XD
And yeah, totally agree, the fire is probably the weakest part of the piece, and sadly it's a central part of it. Feel sorta bad about it too, of all the things I let slip. ^_^;; Guess it's something to work on in the future though, something new to experiment with.

Thanks! Yeah, I was sorta going about it all wrong before. XD Kinda the right idea but completely wrong execution. I wasn't using the lighting and colors correctly before, just had to figure that out the hard way.
