Well, I haven't been for a while, trying to work on a "come back". My attempts to find a job after graduating have been taking up most of my spare time, and haven't had much chance to draw these days, but thanks for checking back in on me! ^_^

ahh rad you got it done! Also see that you made it the single light source too.
good to see you get this piece done :]

Thanks! Yeah, I decided on a single light source to keep it simple. I was thinking of adding more in there, but the guy had waited long enough for me to get this done so I figured I'd do my best with a single one.

No, you called it. The perspective isn't the greatest. I was following it for a while there, but I lost my measuring lines after so long, so the perspective started to fall apart. That and I was attempting one of those wide angle lens effects where the background sorta starts to warp a little, if you know what I'm talking about... but alas, epic fail. XD
And yeah, totally agree, the fire is probably the weakest part of the piece, and sadly it's a central part of it. Feel sorta bad about it too, of all the things I let slip. ^_^;; Guess it's something to work on in the future though, something new to experiment with.

Yeaaaaahhh.... the fire is not so hot. XD Oh well... I'm wondering if I paint the fire more like clouds if that'll work out better.

There's something about the coloring of this that's incredible. I can't describe it.

"Just down the hall behind me, take the second left. Take that hallway until it dead ends and turn right. Now you're gonna want to look for the third door on your right. If you see a room with a marble bust, you've gone too far. Take that third door and there should be a fountain in there. That should put your fire out."

Thanks! Yeah, I was sorta going about it all wrong before. XD Kinda the right idea but completely wrong execution. I wasn't using the lighting and colors correctly before, just had to figure that out the hard way.
