Decided to lay off giving background ponies stories and alternate costumes for a bit, and focus on my OC Starveil, she is the daughter of King Sombra after all.

This is her displaying one of her hidden spells, the Aurora Spirit. The black sphere represents the void/night sky/magnetosphere where auroras originates and resides. The green sphere respresents its power, which is evident as its ionizing and magnetic properties. Also green is the most common color of auroras. Pink/Magenta represents variety, without it auroras won't be as colorful and powerful.

Also the spheres represents the vital elements of gemstones/crystals. Black represents the backdrop or base, which emphasizes the other elements. Green represents the color aspect, and pink represents the fire/brilliance of gemstones/crystals.
