The first of the Mane Six which I plan to draw.

So let me tell you the story behind this certain illustration.

My sisters and I decided upon an art contest amongst ourselves. And the current video (and fad) at the time that one of us was watching, was MLP. So we decided that it will be the theme of our contest. Anything could be drawn as long as we drew our main theme: Rarity.

And so I drew the said pony in human form along with her fanmade counterpart, Elusive.

As for the 'unfinished' look, well, that's really how it's supposed to be. I didn't want to have to color in their skin colors seeing as I don't see it fit for them to be colored the normal ways humans are. Basically what I mean is that if Rarity has a white coat, so be it. The same will go with Rainbow Dash, Twilight Sparkle, et cetera, et cetera...

But 'humanized' versions of the ponies with blue or purple or pink skin won't really look good so I'll just leave out the skin and leave it at that.

And as for their footwear, well, since Rarity had white hooves (or none at all, as it seems), I will also leave them white.

The black color, I don't really know where it would come from but I don't want the guy having white pants. And to make it even between the elite pair, I also added black thigh holster-like thingies on Rarity.

Whew. Hope you guys like it^^

Oh, since that night, the next few nights, we've been having the same contest with different characters as our themes. But tonight we didn't do anything. I'll still continue drawing the Mane Six and hopefully the other characters of MLP soon too.
