Yes it is
Well, Ginga Densetsu Weed is about a dog named Weed. Since his mother, Sakura, passed away, he is trying to find his father Gin. Other dogs are terrorizing the once peaceful dog paradise called Ohu that Gin once ruled. Blah. I'm crap with summaries 
And if you think about watching the anime, try and watch Ginga Nagareboshi Gin before you start this one :3

It would be awesome, if someone would recolor Gin to his original colors, like it's with recoloring ginga figs to other characters.

That's what wolfie on Ginga Board was doing for a little bit. She doesn't have many extra figures now though :[ Trust me, if I had the skills I would buy like 2 or 3 complete set's and recolor them all :]
